Can someone please tell me why these are not the same
It's been bugging me for about 5 months I think sooo WHY
And now Lost Sanctuary calls it Gaia too but the Hive boots and the Percy Jackson series says Gaea and I don't know who to trust anymore in this horrible land of deception and lies

 

Because they aren't suppose to be the same?

 

Gaea/Gaia is the Greek titan representing the Earth, and both items seem to reference this. So why are they spelled differently on each?

 

They don't need to be spelled the same. Salted probably put Gaia for a reason.
Every Gaea in the game is a piece of armor so far so....

 

Gaea and Gaia are the same person tho ;_;

I'm pretty sure "gaia" means earth, and "gaea" is the greek god of earth, tho gaea is also called gaia because gaia came from the name gaea.
i know so many gaea's and gaia's but ether way.

 

I didn't know Gaia was a thing when I made the boots and then they went in-game so whoops

 

But.. It's a goddess ;_;

The names both relate to the same person, not the actual earth. There is really no difference at all between the names, neither is derived from the other.
