Why do people always make the bid increment MORE than one le?

My philosophy is that if an item is good enough, you don't need to put a bid increment on it for it to sell for a high price.
Also how the hell do you have 0 LE?

I see your point, i think a bid increment of 1LE is always needed (For high level rares and legendaries) to block trolls, but no increment higher than that.

 

meanwhile my valentine WAS pissed off at me because my friends did a.... prank that apparently everyone thinks i did ._.
it was a pretty funny prank tbh though, clearing up the fact that i didnt do it was awkward
