Almost exactly 3 months ago (just a day off) I made this theory about some ''Teki'' creatures and I made a small note about the 4th Yahya brother, Sohso. I want to expand on this.

The theory is here and a lot of things in this thread will rely on it.

When you find yourself in Detlas for the first time, you may encounter a strange fellow named Yahya. He's obsessed with mushrooms and speaks with a constant stutter. You help him out, and he gives you his... disgusting bowl. Then, you'll travel the seas and discover Rooster island. A man named Nohno lives there and is obsessed with chickens. Hell, he's even married to one! Maybe you'll notice that Yahya and Nohno are similarly named. Yah and No. Interesting.

You'll keep going through the game without encountering any more of these guys, until level 80 when you find a quest in your questbook called ''???''. Confused, you check the wiki to figure out how to do it, gather some friends, and reach the end of the quest. You meet Mehme, who is obsessed with being alone. Yah, No, and Meh. Three brothers.

If you go to Llevigar, there is (if i remember correctly) an NPC who mentions three scientist brothers, and this lines up with what you learn in ???. Also in the quest, you and your friends enter 3 meteors, each with a sign with the initials for each brother (YY, NN, MM) who researched the meteors. But in the final room, there is a 4th meteor. Who researched that one? Or more likely, who was SUPPOSED to research that one?

In fact, there is a secret area at the end of ???, with even more puzzles. When you reach the end, you find some signs. They read:

My brothers have gone insane. The cosmic magic is too strong. We should have never experimented with the white rock. Now they are obsessed with stupid things! Mushrooms... Chickens! What has happened? I fear there is something hidden behind this magic someone cast on this rock... perhaps we are not ...alone... Even now, my mind is slipping... I just hope... Sohso makes it out alive... I hear he was travelling to Fru...

Isn't that interesting? Mehme mentions his brothers and how a cosmic magic was CAST onto the meteors, but he ALSO mentions a 4th brother, Sohso. The green meteor's researcher. It is implied that he went to Fruma.

But the NPC in Llevigar mentions only 3 brothers, so what did Sohso do? He's unknown to the general public, unlike his brothers. Well, here's my theory.

Sohso was tasked to research the green meteor. However, he was sceptical of the effects that their identified cosmic magic, and did not investigate it until he knew he could be safe. He watched as his brothers were driven into insanity by their meteors, but it wasn't too late. They were still able to be normal, still able to announce their findings to the world. They were slowly losing their memories, though. Sohso knew of a phenomenon where people from Fruma do not remember the province, not even the Corkians who went over the mountains. His best guess was that it was to do with the mountains, so he travelled to Fruma to research this. Perhaps he could find a cure for his brothers memory loss by doing so. The brothers held their press conference about the meteors without him, which is why the public does not know he exists. Maybe he's found a cure already, but the Fruman government will not let him exit the country to help his brothers

I believe that, when we go to Fruma, we will meet Sohso and he will use his memory loss cure to restore our memories, revealing our true lore. Maybe it would work like the memory stuff in Breath of the Wild where we have to explore the land to do it. He could also reveal some cosmic magic lore.

That's all I really have to say, I think this would be interesting if true.

I think it would either be “Yah, Noh, Meh, and Soh” or “Ya, No, Me, and So”, not a combination of both.
