[theory] Corkus And Fruma Additions To Wynncraft + Some Lore

from what I understood, the Main Corkus quest will be based on the "civil war" in Corkus, based on all you will learn about the Avos and how they were treated and in a way you have to evict the Humans of Corkus, it would be interesting if at the climax of the main quest you realize the Avos aren't that innocent, or the new variable to the game... Fruma, why fruma? because New Corkians are from there... and you too... so the main quest might not be finished as Fruma plays an Immportant role in Corkus History... as far as i can see we are going to see a final boss... hat i speculate it might be are the following:

-The leader of the Avos: why would someone put the Leader of the Avos as a boss you have to kill? the same reason you helped the Gerts in the Hunger of Gerts, these guys were portraited as the bad guys at the start of the quest, but after you progress and get acces to the secon part, you realize they are not the bad guys (at least not that bad), so there is the possibility that you might have to kill this guy

-The Factory electromagical force: I dont see him as a final quest boss... i see him as the leader of the new Dungeon that will take place on the Factory or as a side quest boss, maybe even the new ToA, Hive, who knows...but im sure that we will have to investigate the factory and kill the leader of the robotic rebellion. (if you're going to help the Corkians you will have to do this)

-The Queen of Fruma: As far as i know, Fruma is indirectly announced and this will be the final boss of the main character Storyline, why? the main reason is you will be fighting to get back your memories, very little is known about the Province, the things i noted that are crucial to my theory are that everyone who leaves Fruma gets a mind wipe and no one remembers nothing about it, also Magic is the only thing that is available to the monarchy of Fruma, when something is forbidden to the common folk its because it might be too powerful... Fruma Magic might be as advanced as Corkus technology. but that is for other update xD

-The King/Leader of the New Corkians: The most anticipated Villain of Corkus, this boss is going to be the toughest if it makes it to be the endgame boss.. i expect some thunder-based boss that will really kick your ass (like soloing Bob before Gavel Update and no Assassin included), and the reason that most people expect him to see as a boss is because of the story Grian has told us... it has portrayed them as the bad guys who try to hunt down the Avos, although Humans wont leave Corkus, he might be replaced by a man who helped you or some rebel leader in Corkus.

Now to some Lore:

as most you know (i hope) there is a statue in a location (not going to say where) that represents the man that lead the Fruma separatists to Corkus, a guy asked about how is it possible, the answer is simple...

the man IS in fact the one who lead them from Fruma to the Island of Corkus, but as Grian's thread said.. they got mind wiped like everyone who leaves Fruma... except that guy, why? there only two ways he couldn't get mind wiped... the reason number one: he is parte of the monarchy of Fruma... from what we know about Fruma is that is a place where magic is forbidden to the common folk... and since Fruma is speculated to be an extremely Magical place ( I compare their advances in magic as Corkus advances in Technology) so either he has to be a part of the Monarchy of Fruma or a very talented man who discovered a way to bypass the "magical barrier" that surrounds Fruma and wipes the mind of everyone who leaves there... but its just speculation...

What mobs will we see at Corkus?

an easy one, what we know about corkus is an Industrial/Spiritual region... in the part of the factory is expected to be Thunder and Fire creatures, the surroundings of Corkus will have a mix between robots (thunder and fire) and some ethereal creatures (Water and Air) in the mountains is expected to see some Air and Earth creatures, because i dont know the geography of Corkus im just speculating about the places that have been announced (Corkus industrial zone, the region where the Avos live) so expect some errors and inconsistency with the real stuff

-TL;DR 4 bosses, 1 dungeon and an incomplete main quest; Fruma has a shield that if you cross it erases your mind but a guy knew a way to not get his mind erased and lead a rebellion out of Corkus

There's one glaring fact that you missed, it's the queen of Fruma not the king. The guards at the gate only mention a queen, and no king has been brought up so far.

 

Did you just assume the ruler's gender?

 

Thx man.. im not able to enter the server (havent been properly online since Christmas) so exploring the gate of Fruma is a no-no for me... i will correct that :D

ye, from what we know Fruma is gonna be a little bit more medieval oriented Province than the others because of the clothing of the guards at the entrance of Fruma, also, after some searching in fellow theorists thread, we can speculate that is going to be a comparison between America and Britain, being Corkus related to America and Fruma compared to Britain, also @NinjaPro8000 makes a nice suggestion speculating the why of the magic barrier in my theory... the reason they might be erasing the memories of everyone who leaves Fruma is to forget their existence and transform Fruma into a myth and like any normal warfare tactic, if the enemy doesn't know you exist, he wont spend time looking for you because he does not know about you, anyway, the point of this is that this brings new perpective about Fruma's advances in magic and its position on the war, why the Monarchy wont fight against it nd decide to "banish" the province? what do they know about the Corruption that most of us don't know (remember that Qira preferred to build an army against the Decay rhater than healing it and Bob tried to seal something that cost him his life), so.. why does Fruma fears the Corruption to the point they want to dissapear?

 

According to Bob's lore, Rangi has been attacked 50+ times by the soldiers of the corruption. The only other attack of this magitude on another town is nemract. And the new town is even has even less defenses. No other town expect maybe for troms has been hit so hard by the undead.

The undead may be going to fruma. Or the hive mind is pushing in that direction. With fruma at the list of things the corruption is likely to strike next, the best way to protect themselves is to cut as many ties as possible to wynn and thief problems.

 

thats a nice observation.. but also in Bob's lore Ragni was not prepared for the 1st horde of the corrupted soldiers, although they had men protecting it, they were not ready for it... ut has not been reported that Corrupted soldiers have attacked Fruma so they have nothing to worry since the only way to get there is by doing some tunnels through the mountains that surround Fruma or by Ragni's entrance. and if the nobles of Fruma are too worried that they will lose a battle against the Corrupted despite their advances in magic because I've never seen or remember a place in Wynn or Gavel where you can get mind wiped (Tower of Amnesia doesn't counts because it doesnt wipes all your memory, it just resets your skillpoints, to be a real mind wipe it has to reset your level back to 1) they could at least imbue their army with some magical benefits on battle if the corruption manages to get in Fruma. so thats why id really doesn't have sense for me, even with the rebellon in Fruma they should do decent against the Corruption, unless they are fighting anything else in there or the Rebellion is really hitting them hard on there.

well... the reason we compare it to real-life countries is because how simiilar is the origin of Corkus to the orgigins of the United States... both left their homeland and ventured into thesea until they discovered s new land filled with tribal groups, and after some time they evicted the tribes from their territories and those tribes had to move far away from the colonists.

 

that's not how the us came to be, Britain colonized the new continent and only then the colonies decided to split off and start a war. we are never told that fruma had control of corkus or that the corkusians went to war against fruma

 

like i said... it isn't the same.... just similar... im not implying that it IS America and that the corkus history is the same... they just have some similar aspects.
