so at the end of mixed feelings, the ending NPC talked about how the real war hasn't even begun.

What does he mean by this? I think I have a general idea, but I'd like to hear other thoughts on it.. (pls don't call me stupid lol)

 

Probably about either

A: War on Corruption; he basically says how you know nothing about the forces of darkness but fight anyway. OR

B: Some kind of patriotic Corkian movement by radicals, that you are trying to stop without knowing any major motives. (Seems less likely imo) OR

C: The Fruman monarchy. (Still unlikely)

 

i think the war on corruption would probably make the most sense.

There are two powers in a diffrent plane of existence: darkness and light. In short both realms are connected to our realm. They use are plane of existence as a battlefield. Of course this is about as far as official lore goes, pretty much. There are theories about The Eye, Wynnecavation, and an old theory connecting the darkness to the force corruption and the light to the force of time.
