The Realm Of Light?

Hi, sorry if I'm asking a really dumb question, but I can't seem to find Alux to start the quest...I've completed Taproot and Finding the Light. Is there anything I'm missing? Whenever I try to make my way to the coordinates, I always get cut off. Whenever it happens there's a message saying "you feel a strong magic" or something, I can't remember. Can anybody tell me how to find him?

 

You need to wear the Clearsight Spectacles (which you should have received in "Finding the Light") in order to go into the Realm of Light, which should be marked by an archway with an air-like symbol in the Light Forest. Go inside the portal, then the first NPC in the RoL should be the one you need to talk to.
