The Only Lootbox Hat I've ever cared about

Is there any way to get it that isn't spending Hundreds of Dollars on Lootboxes?

That is one fabulous hat.

Realistically no. It's technically possible if you get exceptionally lucky with daily and weekly challenges and repeatedly scrap all the rewards, however you'd need to have pretty decent luck with that you get in order to get a black market and you'd need good luck for that black market to be that hat.

On the other hand, it will likely be available again next year during Wynnter, so you can probably repeat these steps then for a better shot.

Which, realistically, Means anyone who wants anything Decent Looking is actually Just Rich.

Great. Fantastic. I don't know why I even bother with event lootboxes.

 

Well, that is kind of the point of loot boxes. They're a way for the server to make money that is minimally impactful on actual gameplay for other players. The fact that they offer quite a few free crates is honestly pretty nice for those who can't or won't pay.

 

Realistically, 100s of dollars isnt reasonable, as you can get 50 crates, for 49.99 on the store. Tier 4 crates are basically all godly and black market rewards (and the hat is black market) there is a high chance you will obtain it within those 50 crates (like i did myself), if you didn't don't go all in start small and you could get it on your next crate.

 

Dude, at least the "lootboxes" are purely cosmetic and not a pay-to-win system, nobody gets any benefit from mass-buying them
What else do you put in them other than cosmetics?
