Art The Narrative (comic Teaser 1)

These are the main characters in one of the three segments of my upcoming comic THE NARRATIVE. These are the characters from A Binary Moon. I have started to drift away from the classic WSWFG pixel art style, so please tell me what you think of it!

The taller pixel art is not too shabby! It really allows for more detail on their bodies.
Hmmmm, your teaser has already gotten me speculating on stuff...

Okay, so this is in the FAR FAR future, so what does the bar code symbolize? My guess is it's for people. To tag and identify them maybe?

Really reminds me of the Will Save World For Gold art. Nice!

 

The barcode actually is not that important of a symbol in the comic, but it does have little relevance. (Tagging something, but not a living thing) It is the FAR FUTURE (I mean look at the robot arm), but it is not sci-fi or a dystopian. It is something in between.

Thanks! WSWFG is one of my favorite comics, and I love the way you can make readings quickly but with lots of detail in them with the style.
