SPOILER The Mystery Of Fruma And Corkus

Now before I get into this, I want to say that the April Fools' Changelog for Corkus would NEVER be implemented into the game because of a lot of things that would make people give up on Wynncraft entirely (Poisonous floor for the entire game? Are you fucking kidding me???). Whatever this canonical Corkus is, I'll explain it.

Fruma:
So this thread that @DatRandomGuy posted https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/inside-the-library.147939/ was from choosing "Knowledge" from the reward you get from The Fortuneteller and going to the Llevigar University hopper. You get a lot of lore about the provinces (except Dern since the page was ripped out. Suspicious indeed.), including Fruma and a bit on Corkus from the Ocean Lore. But there are some questions that have been raised about them.

In the lore, not much is known about Fruma except that it has a Monarchy with powerful magic that is advanced and withholds magical education to the general public. What makes this more intriguing are the soldiers that the Monarchy sends to Wynn. The last paragraph says that the soldiers themselves know very little about their origin. We'll get back to this later.

Corkus (IN CANON, mind you) is an island province created by a group of Separatists from Fruma. It is said that the technology they have is incredibly advanced with industrial magic. The question, however, is how did they acquire such technology?

The ultimate answer to all of this is that the Separatists are against the Monarchy's restricted magic policy and must've stolen some of the advanced magical knowledge from the Monarchy and left to create a new life in the province now known as Corkus. How advanced is the Monarchy's magic, though? Let's answer that question with another question:

"Why do the Fruma soldiers know very little about their origin, including our own origin?"

My theory is that we will return to Fruma when we're a very high level and get some answers from the Monarchy itself in an epic storyline that would expand the entirety of the Fruma Province.

 

What if Sohso helped them acquire the technology! Sohso was heading to Furma and being related to Yahya, Nohno, and Mehme, the "greatest minds of our time" could have access to this stuff.

 

TODAY IS THE GREATEST DAY! CORKUS IS CONFIRMED REAL! SCREW ALL THE NON-BELIEVERS!

Also, there is an NPC in Selchar (he is human, and this is important,) and he says that he comes from a province with advanced technology, but you can only go there by invite.
This tells me one of two things:
1. He's from Fruma, and Fruma is confirmed province of technology OR,
2. He is from Corkus, and Corkus is cooler than we think.
I say 1 is not very plausible, as there is absolutely no point in telling us that Fruma is invites only, because we come from there.
Also, I talked about this in my stream today, but I can't find the clip, so oh well.

 

Gotta keep this thread swimming at the top of the Forum Waters. This theory is very interesting if you think about it.

No I was still crazy, to an extent at least. Always have been. Because being sane is boring.

 

All we need now are more provinces to expand the list...

 

I feel as though the GM's are lining up Fruma to be the After-Story element. After the defeat of the Darkness, and upheaval of the Light, leftover energies from both side still linger in the 2 magical provinces, and the Wynnic Battleground.

Fruma steps in to capture the magic in the name of their Kingdom, potentially using the excuse that since we're Fruman soldiers, and saved the day, that they hold a right of ownership over any magical forces left wandering the worlds.

 

That's making Fruma sound like a tyrant monarchy. I like it. Good thing I ain't human :)

 

Bumping this in order to have more people talk about our character. Our name is already a mystery, but now this? The plot is getting thicker by each major update.
