A little bit of info before we start:

This will be a story about Bob, with information taken from in-game lore, the wiki, and other credible sources.

This story will be focused mostly on Bob, and a lot of the plot will be based heavily on existing Wynncraft lore.

Some points in the story may deviate from the actual lore, so plz dun h8 :)

Due to my questionable writing skills (I'm not a too good of a writer) do not have too high of an expectation on the story. You have been warned. (the first few parts of the instalment will be kind of boring, as most of the lore will already be known by the Wynncraft community, so please be patient

The story will come in parts, and as this is only the first instalment, there will be a poll on whether or not the story should continue. If the majority votes 'yes' the story will continue

Introduction: (Mostly taken from Wiki)

A hundred years ago, a great stone empire flourished in the province of Wynn. This land was ruled by humans who were capable of wielding immense amounts of magical power, as no other race could even begin to compete with their might. Amongst their strongholds and forts, the citadels of Ragni and Troms stood the strongest, for no enemy host had ever set foot into the fortresses. With the empire expanding at an incredible rate the humans soon started exploring previously uncharted territory, driving away the other species of living things and hunting them to extinction.

The humans soon built the port town of Nemract, and began exploring the desert plains near what is known today as Almuj. However, as they continued to expand, a team of explorers found a seemingly infected patch of land, for the grass around it had wilted, and the ground was barren and a shade of bleeding red no human had ever seen before. Being the curious people they were, the humans soon began excavating, sending chunks of the land to their scientists, and digging ever deeper into the seemingly endless patch of red land. Soon, the humans found massive amounts of green stones for which they named 'emerald' and it was soon realised that these stones were extremely valuable, and the humans began hoarding them. Years later, the humans discovered that the bleeding red land was not a natural occurrence, that there was some sort of gateway or portal buried deep inside the earth. They were fearful of this portal, for those who went near it suddenly became angry, and constantly bickered with their companions.

One day however, a group of emerald seeking miners braved the entrance of the portal seeking new wealth, and they were not disappointed. The realm beyond was one of lava and ash, searing hot but filled with the precious green stones they desired. It was not long before other mining teams caught wind of the new information, and more and more humans started digging into the blood red landscape beyond the portal. However, the seemingly endless supply of emeralds began to dwindle, and the humans were forced to dig deeper and deeper into the blood red floors of the new realm to provide a constant flow of emerald into the already immensely flourishing economy.

It was a month before the humans realised their mistake, for the miners had dug a little too deep into the ground and had awaken the sleeping monsters lying entombed inside the red realm, and now free of their chains the monsters slaughtered the miners and went through the portal, ready to invade the Province of Wynn. The beacons were lit, signalling that the strongholds should send reinforcements to aid the people of Nemract, but it was in vain. The endless stream of monstrosity after monstrosity poured into the once bustling town of Nemract and flattened it in a matter of hours. When the reinforcements finally arrived, eager for battle, they were shocked, for they found no enemies, but only the remains of the dead. The following years were the worst Wynn had ever seen, as the monsters spread out and began destroying and pillaging every human settlement they could reach.

The human armies had put up a good fight, but the monsters were evenly matched, and soon the empire was defeated, the only remaining human settlements being the forts of Ragni and Troms, for even the monsters could not take them, though the humans had suffered massive casualties, and could not afford to continue the war . What they did not know however, was that in a mere 12 years, a young boy would be born in the sewers of Ragni. A boy who would save the province.
