The Hunger Of Gerts Ii Broken

I'm in the middle of the hunger of Gerts 2, and the captured gert already talked to me. However, when I try going to the stairs, the captured gert pulls me back and says that it wants to talk to me. However, now when I right-click on it, it doesn't give any dialogue. I've tried to /class, going to Thanos and back, and restarting my game. Nothing works, and now I'm stuck in that stage. Is there anything that I've missed?
