The Hero of Gavel- stuck

On geyser stage, but forgot to get the rope from the airship, and somehow lost the soft slime from the chasm beasts. I already activated the geyser before realizing I lacked the aforementioned materials, so i tried /kill, /hub, and /class several times. Now the quest won't let me progress forward and I cant find any info on the Discord or wiki that'll help. I'm leaving the quest alone for now, but I really wanna be able to finish it without making a whole new character or something like that.

 

Make hard boots with the leather, the rope/slime is not mandatory for finishing the quest.

Oh and if siegfried isnt accepting them for some reason (pretty sure this is a common bug), relog until he does.
