There's nothing seriously bone-chilling about that quest. I have no idea why everyone else thinks otherwise.

And I played the quest with headphones ;-; , I had fun actually getting myself scared

You actually don't have to do the steps in that order. The quest is exploratory and non-linear. You can just go into any building and it'll progress through the pieces.

 

To be fair, Minecraft isn't really that scary (Though creeper sounds still give me the flashbacks). However, this quest was pretty good honestly at trying to be, there was a lot of psychological elements involved in it. When that body fell from the ceiling and made the sound in the attic house, I was honestly pretty spooked the first time it happened. The first time around, the quest was pretty great and super scary since I wasn't sure what I was doing or what to expect, I was kind of expecting a scare wherever I went, so that made things a little more spooky as well.

Basically, Minecraft isn't that scary, but this quest does an ok job at making it.
