I thought to make this thread after seeing many threads about everything wrong with the recent Hind and Seek event, which you can read about here: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/le-amazing-hide-and-seek-a-mod.142179/

just think: @Pretzule goes through all of this work, just to have the people who hated it say how they hated it, and then the people who liked it say nothing at all, (don't worry, I enjoyed it pretzule)

so here are the good things about the event.

1: the rewards were very fair, and generous. and not to mention Unique, imagine being able to say 'I made that item'

2: the hints were very clever, and difficult. which in my opinion is a good think, congrats @Tantibus (he made them)

3: the hiding locations weren't impossible to find, the hints and clues were direct and they led almost right to the location of where the mods were hiding.

4: it was well organized in my opinion: Pretzule notified the community a long time before the actual event, and very well kept the player in-game updated as to what was going on.

5: it was a great idea, and overall really good for someones FIRST event. yes, it was his first.

the only thing I think they could have dramatically improved was the aftermath, they didn't say who won the rewards, though pretzule did say who got to make the items.

    GG!

    This was unexpected:

I had a little bit to say about this on Pretzule's profile:

It was a great event overall. The only problem was Round 2. There's always going to be "negatives" when you make a minecraft event, take it from me. That's because nothing's perfect in minecraft; people will be unorganized and messy. And communication is somewhat limited. Just because your event wasn't perfect doesn't mean it wasn't successful.

What's important is that it brought some spice to the server, and the whole community had the opportunity to participate in something fun!

P.S. Most of the flak against your event is just server space (which you have no control over) and people who don't know the map well (which you recommended they study).

I think overall pretzul's event was very fun, the only problems I had were server space and lag caused by the players flooding the servers, but you can't control those; and the event wasn't planned around times that would also be convenient in asia, because you needed mods on to do it.

I am going to try to see if in the future we can get more server space, but I wouldn't hold me to that because it would be difficult.

I think that would make it to laggy, we already had enough people crashing.
