the flame of mount wynn glitch

So I can’t complete the quest arachnids ascent because I can’t pick up the flame of mount Wynn do I need a bucket? If I do I have no idea where to get one and fix quests does nothing I searched everywhere including my other class inventories do I need to restart the quest? I have tried and done /class multiple times and that did nothing. Do I need to kill it in a specific place? I have no idea what is going on please help

 

The NPC earlier in the quest should have given you a bucket. Try /fixquests if you lost it

 

Theres no bucket in this quest anymore, and it seems like the hitbox for the flame is just really buggy sometimes.
Try spam clicking at it from multiple angles with an empty hand, try both left and right clicking.
If you are using mods, try vanilla. If you are on an older version, try the latest.
If nothing works, please make a bug report if you haven’t already

I had an issue with this same quest as well. I had to click on the flame multiple times, and from multiple angles before it finally picked it up.
