Hey Everybody!

I'm here with you once again for an amazing contest!

With the release of our new event, The Festival of the Spirits, I was thinking it would be a great time to give the community the opportunity to showcase their talent and win some prizes at the same time!

How to participate

We do have some rules:

-The content you submit must be related to Wynncraft and the Festival of the Spirits; otherwise it won’t be entered, along with it being an original work that was created in this contest timeframe.
-You can only enter once in one category, no more than one entry entirely.
-Your first submission will be the one reviewed.
-You must do your own submission as we will not split the rewards for any category.


As usual, it's very simple to participate, fill out this form here (<- click it)



You can participate in 3 different categories

-Renders (Blender, 3D modelling)
-Traditional art (Pencil and paper, an high-res picture or scan of it should do the trick)
-Digital art (Drawn on SAI, Photoshop, Gimp, or any drawing medium on computer)


We will select a top 3 of the best submissions for each categories based around The Festival of the Spirits theme.

Now the prizes:

For each categories

1st place: Rank Upgrade & 50 spirit crates
2nd place: Vip+ & 30 spirit crates
3rd place: vip & 25 spirit crates


For the sake of transparency, if you have champion already and win 1st place, you will receive 110 festival crates instead!
If you own vip+ and win 2nd place we will give you 60 crates instead, and 35 crates if you already have vip and win 3rd place.


Feel free to comment in this post with your submissions if you want others to see them, but keep in mind only the ones in the form will be selected.

This contest will end on Tuesday the 26th of October (in the morning CEST)(around 2 weeks ish), a new thread will be made some time later to announce the results with the winners and their submissions!

For some clarification regarding: "Renders (Blender/3D modelling)
I assume Minecraft builds and build renders would fall under this category as well? (probably an obvious yes, but I just woke up and my brain is lagging)

Yes, if you go that route you need to make something with special effects and some 3D modelling elements to it, something more than "i built a house and put it in blender" type of thing ^^

Organics or maybe specific scenes built around the theme with 3D modelling elements (characters or various decorative elements), some sprinkles of creativity added to it basically.

At least that's the way i would see it ^^

What if you don't have a rank and win 1st place? Do you get put to hero/vip+ or does it just put you to VIP

You would get vip and 50 crates, but we might add a few more crates if that's not enough, i couldn't write every possible prize choices depending on ranks etc otherwise the formatting would have been hell ^^

 

For 3D models: is it necessary for the model to be related to Wynncraft's lore/a specific item or does it just have to be original and follow the event's theme?

 

Idk man, seems pretty dumb that you'd get a worse rank upgrade than 2nd place.

 

You get more crates

 

Idk, I'm not sure more crates makes up for the Extra rank pretty much no matter how many.

Couldn't you just say:
1st place: Hero rank or Rank Upgrade & 50 spirit crates
