SPOILER The Eye Lore Help

So my favorite part of a lot of the games I play is the lore (that’s why TES is so awesome) and I really enjoy wynncrafts lore but I’ve only been able to find fragments of the eyes lore(more specifically its relationship with the crystals and the wynnexavation ppl). So I was wondering if anyone could either post about it here or direct me to somewhere where I can read about it in-depth. Also while we are here, what happened to bak’al? Did bob kill him? Do we know?

 

I’m no lore expert, but have you done all the dern discoveries? Especially the final discovery has some eye and bak’al lore if I remember correctly.

 

I have done all of the secret discoveries but that’s actually kinda where these questions came from because all of those seemed like they showed small pictures but I’m not able to pice them together very well

 

Bak'al is still alive and works for the Dernic beast we saw in the final discovery.
The beast ripped out his own eye and commanded Bak'al to bring it to the top of EO where he could look over Wynn.

 

Right I knew that but A. That doesn’t mean bak’al is still alive right? That had to have taken place like thousands of years ago. B. That doesn’t tell me how it relates to the crystal or what it did after the beast pulled it out

 

Well, from the looks of it WynnExcavation may be outdated as the Ancients don't tend to stick well with the Olm

 

Oof well that’s kinda bothersome but one of the discoveries in the SE was about the crystals wasn’t it?

 

In the Wynn Plains ultimate discovery there is a cutscene where Bob fights Bak'al, in which Bak'al teleports away when Bob casts a spell to make it seem like he died. This battle took place during the older years of Bob's life, as you can see him use spells from basically every class.
In Ragni's area lore, you learn that Bob has been missing for 16 years, which relatively isn't that much considering Bob lived to be more than 100 years old.

That said, it is safe to assume that Bak'al is still alive and ages slower due to the corruption or something.
Also, Bak'al was one of the first to enter the Nether portal which was opened 1,000 years ago..

The crystals are the same ones you see in the WynnExcavation questline, which grant the user tremendous power if combined together. The ancestors of the Olm/Ancients found these crystals and hid them away inside the mountain border around the (now) Silent Expanse due to then being too powerful and dangerous. This is how the more recent Olm/Ancients were able to escape from The Eye. They dug them back up and used them to teleport into mainland Wynn.
