The Exact Number Of Item Mobs To Get A Mythic! (avarage Chance)

Alright as many people know, there is a guy going to drop over 100 item bombs on detlas. Now i understand, everyone one is hoping to get a mythic but here we have the exact number of item bombs needed to get a mythic:

14285714.285714285 (or just 14,285,714 item bombs) now according to the store of wynncraft to buy all those item bombs you will have to spend 11,598,212$ because (14,285,714/16*12,99$) to give a mythic to entire world. Good luck

Well i think i didn't explain well. To get 14285714.285714285 i did 100/0,000007 because 100 is the total percentual to get a mythic and 0,000007 is the drop rate. Now you get 14285714.285714285 (or 14,285,714 item bombs). Now to calculate how much they cost i did 14,285,714/16*12,99$ because 16 item bombs cost 12,99$. This is

Well a mythic is NOT worth 12M of dollars, but you will mostly like get a mythic with Item Bombs you need to spend 12m of dollars

 

You would have to do 100*0.000007 and that's just the chance if there is only one player on the server.

 

100 is the % so you have to divide it for the drop rate

 

You can get a mythic in 1 item bomb.... there is no way to guarantee a mythic though. How did you do this math again?

 

Hello, this is horribly done math. You cannot calculate the exact needed amount of bombs needed to get a mythic. This is because this number does not exist. What you can calculate, however, is the expected number of bombs needed to get one.

This is similar to the horse calculation. You cannot calculate the exact amount of LE to get a horse; however, you're expected to get one by that much time. (Look up expected value if you don't know what I mean.) Some people have spent less than 10 LE getting a white horse, whereas I spent over 40 LE for the first chestnut.

You're not even 100% sure of getting a mythic. It's just probability.

 

This is the avarage, nothing in probability is sure you have right i'll change that.

However you cannot say this is horrible math, i'm not even sure if you understand how i arrived at those numbers

But don't item bombs have a higher chance of dropping rare stuff, or are legendaries just that common?

The chance to get a mythic from an item bomb is seven in one million or 0.000007
The chance to get a mythic from 100 bombs is 0.000007*100 or 0.0007
Now the number is just for one player, getting one player from each bomb.
This does not include getting more than one mythic.
