The Envoy Part I Glitched

i am doing the quest the envoy part 1 but i tried to enter the vent by using a teleportation spell, after the spell i got glitched in a block so i did /kill, now i could enter the vent system but when i get to the end i get a message saying: 'Hey! You arent allowed on my ship!'
The quest book says i need to talk to Maxie but he is nowhere to be found, /kill didnt work and switching to 1.12.2 didnt either.

Help please, i cant find Maxie anywhere.

 

So you were doing the vent part (middle of quest right?) and suddenly you get the dialogue when the css wavebreaker capt says when you're not doing the quest yet... can you provide screenshots?
