Speculation The Eastern Border Of The Sky Islands Has Some New Stuff

Obligatory "I'm sure this has already been discovered, but..."

So, if any of you have explored the eastern edge of the sky islands, you know there's an ice castle, and that's about it. Well, I was going through the area, and there have been some changes. First of all, the ice castle is now surrounded by a bunch of campsites, but that could just be some new decorations. However, I kept heading north, and found this.

The area is completely surrounded by barrier blocks, which is why the picture is so oddly positioned. It is entirely possible this is actually for the upcoming molten heights questline, but I thought it could be related to ???, given that it's impossible to enter.

Again, just baseless speculation, but it's pretty interesting.

Update: escape-jumping has revealed that there is some sort of floating platform inside, that is on fire. Other than that, no idea.

 

I saw that, I think it's gonna be used for the future Siegfried quest
