Shop The Drunken Mage --- A General Store, Sorta

You walk in to find a lone man in a lab coat shining up the latest glass from a customer who had one too many drinks. His mittens are placed on the table behind him - aside from his skeletal hands, there's really nothing non-human about him at first glance. He looks at you and smiles, although he's really always smiling. You can't tell if the smile is fake or not, but you still greet him kindly. His teeth don't separate as he speaks, but his mouth still moves to imitate a normal person's speech.

The shopkeeper calls out into the seemingly empty air. It seems extremely quiet today.

The shopkeeper rings a small bell at the entrance of the store. It seems quiet this evening...

Taking advantage of the lack of customers, he goes to restock and puts up a sign saying "i'll be back at around 4pm my time tomorrow. don't worry." before going to get more stuff and figure out pricing for some items.

 

The shopkeeper hurries back inside, knowing he's over eight hours late for the restock.
[1/3] Thomas: damnit, damnit, damnit...i knew i should've checked my schedule.
He sighs, noticing the order list hasn't grown at all.
[2/3] Thomas: ...well...at least i don't have too many orders to fill...if any at all.
He relaxes a bit and goes back behind the counter, placing his mittens --- which he had taken with him to keep his hands, which are always bone-cold, warm --- back on the table.

It's still incredibly quiet.

 

He hurries in, looking exhausted. With a grim frown, he asks if they have any keys to the infamous Galleon's Graveyard. He looks rushed and stressed, sighing as he looks across the store. He stares at the shopkeeper's lab coat... the shopkeeper seems to ignore him as he stands there.

 

After a few moments to allow the question to sink in, Thomas' grin falters a bit. He seems disappointed to say the truth.
[1/2] Thomas: ah, galleon's graveyard...truly the most agitating of the normal dungeons, for a variety of reasons.
