Community Event The 2022 Wynncraft Olympics (signups open!)

Then you should join the 2022 Wynncraft Olympics! This is a series of small challenges in Wynncraft that will take place over the span of 3 weeks. Events range from scavenger hunts to unique PVP events to tests of PVE skill. Many events require you to submit something over a certain time period, rather than having to log in at a certain time! (some events will require you to log in at a certain time, but they’ll occur more than once).

In the Wynncraft Olymics, you’ll be joining one of six teams. As you and your team complete the challenges, you’ll earn points. The team with the most points will earn 5 Stacks of LE, split among all their members! (so 16LE per member, assuming the team is full with 12 players, but this isn’t too likely). Certain events will also give LE prizes to the player or team who does the best in them. In total, 10 Stacks will be given out.

This event will run from July 1st to July 21st, with extensions occurring if 2.0 releases in between or if the beta gains substantial updates. So even if you feel like you can only log on a few days during this time period, you’ll be okay and I encourage you to join.

Signing up is easy, and everyone is allowed to enter regardless of level or experience with Wynncraft! Trust me, I believe every player can contribute to the team in some way.
All you need to do to join is DM me on discord at WithTheFish#1353, and I’ll dm you a link to this event’s discord server. If your friend is in the server already, they can invite you too.

The deadline for signing up is July 14th.


The challenges in the olympics will be as follows:

• Scavenger Hunt: I will post 5 screenshots, and your team needs to find where they are ingame before everyone else! This challenge will happen multiple times throughout the olympics, and the team that finds the most locations the fastest will get a bonus prize split among their members!

• Catch the Fish: I, WithTheFish, will be on a level 11 hunted class, and you have to use your low-level tools to hunt me down. This will take place at a certain time, but it will happen more than once!

• Boss Altar Challenge: Each week, I will announce a boss altar that participants need to beat with special restrictions. Players will need to do this solo and record themselves doing it, and in addition to helping their team win the olympics overall, they’ll get some LE!

• ??? 2: Enjoyed the ??? quest? I’ve prepared a puzzle-based challenge for the teams to solve that’s similar to this. It’ll probably take a few days to complete and you’ll need to work together, rely on brainpower, and knowledge of Wynncraft. The two teams that solve it first will earn some LE!
  
  
• Creation Contest: For the more creative side of Wynncraft. Teams will be given a to-be-determined prompt that’s related in Wynncraft, and will need to complete it by the end of the olympics. No art skills are needed!
  
  
• Bonus Games: Stuff like boat races and pigpuck games. These won’t contribute many olympic points (if any at all) since they always end up pretty chaotic, but people find them fun and that’s what matters most!

The teams you can join are as follows, and each can have a maximum of 12 players:

Upon joining the olympics, you can ask to join a specific team, or I can put you in one that I think you’d fit best in. If a team has significantly more members than the others, joining it may be temporarily restricted. You can switch teams if you want prior to the start of the event.
