The 1.11 Pvp Improvements! (and My Opinion)

    You hate 1.9 pvp ? Welp, too bad, you can leave now.
    Hi ! A few snapshots for 1.11 have been out already, and they're mostly bugfixes. But there are a few really good stuff for PVP ! (informations taken from here)

    • Fixed arrows of harming/healing (very useful for PvP and PvE);
    • Fishing rods that work in the offhand (extremely useful for SG/HG and Skywars);
    • Improved shields (they're not OP as some people think - they're actually much more useful in close-quarters combat now, but they're still balanced);
    • Significantly nerfed natural regeneration (a change that was really needed IMO);
    • Significantly nerfed hunger deplete rate.
    Now, the shield improvement is really interesting. In 1.9/1.11, it used to absorb 66% of the damage. Now, it absorbs 100% !
    The tipped arrows fix will led to interesting stuff. We already had poison/weakness arrows (which are the most useful imo, let's not forget the slowness one)
    Fishing rod fix will create some interesting combos. I haven't tried it yet, but axe/sword + fishing rod could be really great to catch people running away.
    The natural regen nerf was needed, it was way too op before. Right now, I don't use a shield but food in off-hand. You can eat in a middle of a fight while someone is beating you up and still win the fight because of that.
