Temporal Horror Mob

This mob gets me down to 1 fps.

And how exactly does it bring you down that low? That mob is like every other mob out there let alone not being made of armor stands, and I have defeated it multiple times without facing severe lag.

Is Optifine installed at all? I know there's a setting that made the game go from constant 1 fps to smooth running with me. You could try to use that to see if that fixes anything. Otherwise, if it's just that mob causing you lag, just avoid killing the Temporal Rift as the mob isn't mandatory for progression anyways.

 

The problem is it shoots likw a million arrows a secon nonstop.

I don't think I have a good computer, but I have no knowledge on computers. Here they are:

• CPU: Intel Core i5-6200U
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 940M (2GB DDR3)
• DISPLAY: 15.6”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS
• STORAGE: 1000GB HDD
• RAM: 12GB DDR3, 2133 MHz

 

12 GB is good, that shouldn't be having any effect. It might have something to do with your graphics card, but I'm not very knowledgeable about those.
