Temple Of The Legends / Bob's Lost Soul

I found out that the Temple Of The Legends quest relies on a lot of quests and quest items that I've virtually ignored (and somehow lost??? using /fixquests gets them back though). The set of quests that need to be completed to advance further into the Temple Of Legends quest were primarily "bypassed" by grinding and going up to the next level and then realizing that I actually had a quest available in my quest book and that I should do this one or that one instead of zombie massacre back when I was at lower levels (current level is 68.)

This carried over and continued to happen with later levels and quests, and so I never did "Maltic's Well" or "Grave Digger" and those aren't too hard to handle as far as I've seen. It's just that one quest with the Bob's Lost Soul thing. The second I spoke to Tarod I got haunted by flashbacks of me in situations where my inventory was so full with potions and armor/weapons/powders and junk and then I find something that I believe is worth storing (e.g legendary dagger) and trying to hastily make a decision on what to toss because a pack of wolves or monsters or those big enemies that have the white rings appear around them whenever they want to maul you are chasing me. The soon-to-be almost inevitable outcome is A) finding an item that I haven't met the minimum level for that has no IDs or B) items having no IDs in general or C) potions that have 1 use left or D) the useless depressing weapons. "They only have 0-1 damage anyway," I said. "They have no use," I said. "They're easy to get," I said.

An unknown and inexplicable (but has certain explanations) force throws the words back into my face as I go out into Ragni or Detlas and kill off the Lv. 1 monsters and they drop nothing. Not even their wallets. It's mainly Rotten Flesh for the zombies and as for the other ones they refuse to leave me anything. I figured it would only be a matter of time and that a simplistic yet painstaking practice would wrap it up but after a whole hour of wiping out large groups of mobs with smoke bombs the depressing items still wouldn't drop.

I decided to resort to the gamepedia wiki for any tips or info on how to get the arsenal of the damned, but all it says is "they're useless and only used for the Bob's Lost Soul quest and deal 0-1 damage" or "Go to the Ice Barrows dungeon and find a hole and kill mobs there to increase the drop chance and don't equip loot bonus" which I later found to be either a lie or truly testing my wits because I found no hole near the Ice Barrows dungeon and no mobs to kill in such hole that also may or may not exist.

And the aforementioned source of information also said that I would need a "Bob's Tear" which I remember throwing out of my inventory a long time ago. It's also exacerbated by how Bob The Zombie spawned a lot more frequently at that time compared to now, when I can't find him anywhere. I've tried going on a less populated server, and it gives same results.

So I don't know what to do or any feasible solutions for me to obtain these items other than go on the forums and write a 7 paragraph sentiment in hopes of finding answers or write a cease and desist letter to the mobs or Bob The Zombie (or that man smirking outside the Temple Of Legends) or out of extreme desperation somehow get all the depressing items and Bob's Tear through another player and all that trading stuff I see on the forums and on WC that occasionally leads to a cluster of people appearing in Detlas.

I'll spare 2 Liquid Emeralds to whoever does the deed if that happens.

Anyway, these items are worth like 10Eb in total, so you're kinda scamming yourself. Ask in server 1 Detlas if anybody has them for best results.

 

Depressing weapons and bob's tear can be gained in like 2 hrs very max just by killing mobs around nessak.

Depressing weapons (as Thega said) are found by killing mobs around nessak. I find mainly the wolves drop them, however all mobs will have a chance for them to drop. As for bob's tear, a bob zombie will periodically spawn in ragni on any server. Just run around ragni looking through buildings for a red tag, and run up to it and hope its a bob zombie. If it is, it should be a weak mob to kill and theres a low chance for it to drop a tear
