Teleportation Chamber (easter Egg?)

When exploring the biome around the Tower of Ascension, I stumbled across an interesting thing.



Guarded by level 52 neutral mobs. It opens up into a little shaft with a button at the end. When you enter, the door closes behind you. The pressure plate to reopen the door does a nice animation with command blocks, makes me think it's more than an easter egg.



When you push the button, it gives you slowness for a few seconds, and says says:
">ERROR: Teleportation configuration blank. No destination found!"



So, am I missing something here? It's clearly more than a simple easter egg, and I haven't seen anything about it yet. Please enlighten me!

 

This place has been found before, and it's suspected to be Ohms' Lab, which is unfinished.

There is little backstory on Ohms, but we all know he had a lover called Gale(she's dead,lol) and she's buried in a cave in the Qira Hive.

 

Wow, what a crappy lab.

 

Also, the door is supposed to be closed and only opened through an obscure dance ritual with a key, but map loading errors are fun. It can't be fixed until a push, which won't happen until the Follow Up Update due to quests being built.
