Swords

I have been looking everywhere for the reason of why there is no sword weapons in Wynncraft. So far i haven't gotten any luck.
Therefor i am asking: why are there no sword weapons in Wynncraft?

In my opinion swords are more suitable for the general warrior class, and i think the look of them is better.

But don't get me wrong, i think the idea of shovels as spears is pretty neat, and it would be totally awesome if you could throw them, as a special combination attack. (maybe it already is, i'm only a lvl 11 warrior noob, so i wouldn't know...).

 

The Sword's blocking ability would make it unfair. At least, that's the reason I guessed. Dunno, though.

 

Whit Gavel there will be more models for a class. So warrior could have more models, like a sword a hammer, an axe etc

 

If I rember right, it has to do with the spells. The game puts priority over the blocking effect/animation instead of reading the button click, stopping any spells from being preformed. And though other servers have linked the block to do something, they do it in a different fashion that wouldn't work for Wynn.
