As the title states, i am looking for a build that balances around having a lot of survivability but also have moderatly good damage.

The hive set was literally designed so that its bonuses would cancel out.
The entire hive set has already been established to be a HORRIBLE idea. Your damage is shit, and your element defenses, while good, are not nearly as good as they can be.

 

Damage is shit? You can still do 15k uppercuts with guardian, also, have you ever tried hive set yourself? Designed to cancel each other out? Bad designers. Horrible idea? Opinion.

I don't even want to bother anymore. If you think that hive set is great, go for it. Go grind 4 classes to lvl 80, and put on a set, which is both less tanky and does less damage than any other tank.

I have, as a matter of fact. I have the entire hive set lying around in my classes. I put them on once, just to actually test it, guess what. It was complete shit.

 

If you know how to use the advantages of hive set it's good. I guess you don't know. Also, use mana regen accessories kek
