Studying The Corrupt Quest Glitched

So basically I was going around and doing quests when I decided to do the Studying the Corrupt quest. I went through all the dialogue and got to about stage 4. This was when I clicked on the diary and it then proceeded to place me in a cutscene of someone walking out of the portal. however, once he vanished I was left inside of an invisible box where I cannot teleport to get out. I cannot do anything and am trapped.

 

/kill with more than 6 soul points, then return to the diary to continue the quest.
