Stuck In Quest

Hi, im stuck on the temple of legends quest: im at the point where i need to go into the creeper cave meanwhile it is glitching out I think. I have the creepers mask but whenever I enter it says " You sense a mythical aura from the cave, it might be best to leave it alone"
can someone please help me find out how to fix this issue? Thanks so much,

You have to do reworked creeper infiltration, just like @Pokextreme said. you have to do quest which is reworked in order to get access to creeper cave

 

The creepers suddenly recognised your mask was fake and they banished you from their cave until you turned into an actual creeper by Jumla's tea.
