Stuck in Order of the Grook

Hello. I started the order of the grook quest yesterday and had a lot of fun with it but had to turn it off for the night, right when the ghost guide led me to the wybel class. Now that I am trying to play again, I have lost the ghost guide, and none of the black doors are working (I think i must go to the big one at the center of the big hall). Can this be solved somehow? Am I doing something wrong?

 

Normally your class would be through the door to your right as you walk into the dining room, which will bring you to a big staricase, and the class is at the top I think (but it might be at the bottom)
