Strategy For A Hunter's Calling Final Boss First Phase?

In my opinion the second phase is a lot easier than the first. If I can just get to it, and not die of Aledar phase 2's multihit, i should be able to beat the battle. The real problem is the first phase, especially the minions. When I get Tasim's hp to around half (I don't even try to damage Aledar, I know that Tasim's second phase is a lot harder), there are just TONS of minions. With like 16 mages and archers firing at you from every direction, the fight seems impossible. Once I actually focused on the minions, but then you have no chance to damage the bosses. I just need a strategy for this fight. It seems like it's many times harder than The Eye, which is said to be the hardest boss. And btw one requirement: Don't say my strategy should be "ask for help". I do not want help in bosses, it takes the fun away.

 

The minions spawn rather slowly, so
1) Kill the mages
2) Herd Tasim and Aledar towards the rest of the minions so they get caught in your spells as well

 

Which class are you doing it on?
imo archer is the easiest due to its high damage and smaller aoe so aledar doesn't die first when you wish to kill tasim. Also when aledar goes grapeman mode and disappears you won't get blasted from behind as you have arrow shield.

Anyways during the first phase you can lure tasim in with the mages and archers to eliminate them as seeksery said above
Run around and kite, they're both melee.

If you kill tasim first, you better hope you got some way of getting aledar off of you. or pots. the second phase pretty much requires pots in my experience if you're not a mage/shaman

If you kill aledar first, you better get some pots or way of sustain because tasim second phase spawns soldiers insanely fast.

Aledar is better for the second phase imo, tasim is just too tanky

I already beat the boss (im an assassin). I just used a defense pot and that basicly was all I required

 

And btw watch out for sudden arrow storm in phase 2, he fires really many arrows. He does that at low hp.
