Strange Problem With Click And Drag

When I play minecraft, every time, my click and drag malfunctions (unless I'm using some modpack with twitch). Normally, you should be able to click something once and it attaches itself to your cursor. However, I have to HOLD my cursor in order to keep the item on it. Also, sometimes, when I place the item down in the inventory, it instantly teleports back to where it initally was. This is frustrating, because I can't click icons in the Wynncraft game, without grabbing them and bringing them to an empty slot. Also, positive this doesn't have to do with Wynncraft.

turn off touchscreen mode, it's in the control settings somewhere
