Hey guys in this build I went for a more realistic feel (less log/wood) and I think it's going very well. I'm posting this just seeing if you guys would want to see more since I am nowhere near done. Remember I meant to have less log and wood. Anyways, enjoy!

EDIT: I've only done the entrance so far, not the walls

Looks good so far, although perhaps some more detail to the walls using wood?

I only did the entrance so far. Also I'm not using as much wood as the log frames are very unrealistic and generally don't look great but thank you anyways!

Not really, as walls always look good with frames. It would also add variation to the wall and show that the wall is actually supported.

I don't believe all walls look good with frames, but I'm just not doing it for this build because real castles don't have tons of wood showing. I am going to hint the fact of supports but I don't think I'll have a frame for it. It's cool that you like that kind of stuff though!

Because you don't use wood or any framing this castle looks REALLY bland.
And i mean REALLY bland, this is one of the blandest builds i've ever seen.

Well real castles do not have 3x3 feet logs lining everything. Most are made with the supports not even visible. Having logs everywhere doesn't create a very realistic castle effect. Though, I will add some logs coming out from the wall to show that it does have supports that just aren't visible.

I wasn't only talking about wood, a STONE framing would also make it look good.

Lol this is just a test. My other posts with builds are much more colorful and lively. Lately I've been drawn to a realistic style.
