Starbound Or Terraria?

The name is self-explanatory. Vote on the poll for which one is better. Personally, I think Starbound is better, but hey, matter of opinion.

 

Starbound. It's just better.

 

I personally like Terraria more, Starbound just kind of went down hill when it started to become more linear after being semi open for so long. It just feels so restricting and so hand holdy.

 

I have never played starbound, but terraria is awesome, especially if you start fishing early game!
there is so much to do in it, there is literally endless content, and im not talking like how minecraft is limitless but boring after awhile, I'm talkin g fun content

I like Starbound a lot better. First, Starbound has a workshop and mods, so if you get bored, subscribe to some of them mods. Actually, just one mod. Frackin' Universe does really does a good job at adding new content to the game. I removes -some- of the repetitiveness of the actual game. Second, S P A C E! Terraria, on the other hand, just isn't what I like. I put in a good amount of time into that game doing everything (and I mean EVERYTHING, like killing the Guardian and killing 50 Nymphs, etc), and as a result got real bored of the game. Starting anew just felt weird.
I guess that's just my opinion. Terraria got real stale after I picked up Starbound.

 

I like both equally, to be honest. They both have their goods and bads. Starbound's idea is cool, but it gest really repetitive sorta quickly. Terraria may not have that 'explore space' factor, but I've done like 5 playthroughs and each time I do it differently and I never get bored

Terraria is better than Starbound <3

 

Starbound has the same boring repetitive progression and gameplay loop and suffers from offering a huge, wide universe but restricting that path greatly. However, it has its upsides with building, cool dungeons, workshop mods, roleplay aspects... mainly workshop mods.
Terraria is the opposite; unique progression and gameplay loop with a smaller world to explore but more options and routes to go down. After several years of playing Terraria, the one complaint I have is that pre-hardmode is sometimes too easy; a small complaint.
So, uh, Terraria >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Starbound. Starbound's fun but I'd rather play Terraria over it any day.

I only have terraria so i guess Terraria then.

 

I enjoyed Starbound more and feel that the space aspect of it is part of the reason. I've played both games with friends but have found that I play Starbound by myself occasionally.
