Music Star Fox Assault - Space Battleground [piano Cover]

So remember when I used to do piano covers? Well guess what: I did it again. This time, it's not Wynncraft tho: I got my band teacher to let me record myself playing the ancient but still amazing Steinway piano for Star Fox music XD



Time for a "small" DS-rant:

The reason I did this song is because Star Fox is literally the most underrated game in Nintendo history and I cannot stress that enough. It was the first freakin' Nintendo game to have 3D graphics, it has the most infamous cancellation in Nintendo history (if you've never heard of Star Fox 2, you're missing out on 2 sexy baes named Miyu and Fay ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'll let you all look that up...), amazingly developed characters and storyline, and of course a boss soundtrack (I mean, at least for Star Fox Assault. I've literally listened to the entire soundtrack so many times...). The reason that they're so underrated is because Nintendo is just retaining it in the past: the new Star Fox game for Wii U (Star Fox Zero, if you didn't see the ridiculous E3 puppet show) is literally a REBOOT of ANOTHER FREAKIN' REBOOT (Star Fox Zero is rebooting Star Fox 64, which is already a reboot of the original Star Fox SNES game). Nintendo also still thinks that everyone is crazy about "doing a barrel roll"... I guess Nintendo just thinks that with the failure of Star Fox Adventure, Assault, and Command (not canon, nope, definitely not canon...), they should try to "reimagine" the storyline and let the nostalgia do all the work for them. Well, nope.avi. Star Fox just needs some sort of miracle game like "Ocarina of Time" (BTW, Legend is Zelda is overrated. Yep, I said it, fight me) with a newer, darker, more developed storyline but NOT something "new" like Sonic 2006 (I have to cross myself just mentioning that game) that everyone from Mario and Legend of Zelda fans to Bayonetta and Final Fantasy fans would enjoy (of course, that makes me have to mention my disappointment that Bayonetta beat Krystal for the new SSB4 fighter AND Nintendo threw out Wolf) with a little bit of enhanced FPS action to satisfy COD nerds who weren't happy with Star Fox Assault. The Star Fox fandom isn't just homophobic furries and old-schoolers Nintendo!

Well, I don't know if anyone will actually read that, but if you do, give me a msg so I can know there's SOMEONE out there in the Nintendo world that I can hardcore chat about Star Fox with :P

I find It kinda funny ♬, I only like to play medium hard songs but but I've never actually played a song flawlessly all the way through.

LOL, OK some more about Smash: 1) My running joke with Star Fox in Smash is that the best Star Fox game was Subspace Emissary and the best Star Fox soundtrack is SSB Melee XD 2) Of course no one wants to use Fox in SSB4 because of freakin' Scrappy-Doo as his voice actor DX

lelz, actually this isn't 1 take... I was breezing through it when I messed up 1:54 and had to do a whole ton of extra takes in order to get the ending right (which is why there's a slight cut there and the ending is sort of choppy)

 

the end made me chuckle, didn't notice the middle as much :P
