So I spent 8LE buying horses. All upgrades, and i mean all resulted in the same tier horse, expect 1 by the 5 LE spent, that's when i got a tier 2. I proceeded to spend 3 more LE in horses, and not a single tier 2 more.

I ragequitted and fused the tier 2 horse with the tier 1, and it obviously turned tier 1.

This is probably a bug, it can't be that expensive to make horses, I saw the Horses page on the wiki and a tier 2 should cost 2LE and 16 blocks, while i spent 8LE for 1 tier 2 horse (so yeah, the wiki calculates the 20% chance and says that a tier 2 horse is 2LE 16eb, and while i didn't get them 4, not even 2 to try and upgrade them too).

My dream of a tier 3 horse is crushed and I ask of you to fix this so nobody has to suffer as I did.
Sincerely thinking about quitting Wynncraft, this was painful, so many days of adventuring, selling in the market and completing missions basically gone economy-wise.

I really don't know if it's possible to see my horse purchases and uprgades. If so, please do it, and if not, trust me and investigate this, it shouldn't happen.

Also sorry if you don't understand something, english is not my main language.

It's random chance; You could theoretically spend an infinite amount of emeralds on horses and still not get to the next tier. The numbers on wiki are mere averages, calculated with groups of 10 horses by Yuno in his horse breeding thread. Your bad luck isn't a bug, although with the amount you spent, that sounds very normal instead of even being bad luck.

I would like to doubt your logic, as if that amount for 1 tier 2 horse is normal then everybody should revise their tier 2 horses on the market, as people are selling them at 2LE max 3LE as reasonably priced while I spent 8LE and it theoretically could also be priced as infinite.

Now, if you're lucky, as you like to speak of luck, you could have very good luck and spend only 1LE and 32EB to get a tier 3 and double for a tier 4. Not really happening anytime soon, so the calculation on what would be the norm seems pretty accurate to me.
The wiki uses the following calculation, believing you won't find any good or bad luck on the way, making it so you need to get the 80% fail chance first and then getting the horse. Using that, i would have to buy 6 horses (as the tier 1 can't disappear or level down if failed, meaning i cut some expenses) which cost 144EB, meaning I would fail 4 upgrades and then get it in the last. That's 2LE 16EB as the wiki says.
And I got 1 tier 2 out of 8LE, which shouldn't have happened. The normal happening would have been getting 3 horses and if a little bit lucky 4. And I really mean normal, as there are people doing business selling horses, which wouldn't happen if they had to spend 8LE for every tier 2 horse.

Thinking of these facts -as I really think there's nothing false behind- has made me realize it can't be that I'm unlucky, and that's why I'm asking for this to be investigated; so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I'm done with the server (because, let's be realistic, I won't be getting any emeralds or horses back, from the admins or from anyone who can give them) I demand a fix so this doesn't happen to anyone else; it really borders the line of stupidity knowing that even a casino doesn't rob you as much as this does if it's indeed the case of luck.

But of course you would all be lucky and be so carefree. yOu GoT uNlUcKy Ha hA LmAo I gOt A tIeR 3 WiTh 4 hOrSeS.
Ok mate, very cool. Now someone getting 5 tier 4 with 40 upgrades and completely crashes the economy, or what?

Wynncraft has a market because it's supposed to be minimally fair. You got a tier 3 with 4 browns? Sell it and you literally have enough emeralds to buy legendary equipment from level 1 to a 100.
Let's not even talk about some lucky boy getting a tier 4 (have seen someone named DailyWynn or something getting pretty close) and selling it for real money (who cares if it's illegal, people doing it anyways, lmao), because, who would want emeralds when they have the same value as dog-s***, really, if you're low on emeralds, just go buy horses! Because it seems literally everyone gets lucky except some poor souls like me that have to then deal with people telling them; bro it's just bad luck, and forget about the horse selling market, because it obviously doesn't hint to people actually getting the rates at which horses are supposed to get upgraded.

Is there a way to even confirm it's a 20% chance to upgrade (from personal experiences and from friends I don't believe it gets even to 10%)? And if it really is, where has it gone? Maybe, knowing that Wynncraft isn't really making any real money by making people lose emeralds, it would be recommended to actually make the rates what they're supposed to be? It really has started to piss me off how people I don't really know on this post and on discord have started to message me saying they got tier 2 on first try, tier 3 on less than 6LE and someone even getting a tier 4 on the first tier 3 fusion.

So that's it I guess, the game is fair overall and if you see this post before buying horses I would actually recommend you trying it out to find if you're one of the lucky ones or just resignate to buying the horses at the market for the price they should cost you + some blocks extra. Just keep in my that those tier 3 or 4 horses seem to have costed people about a quarter of what they should cost: no one has come forward to tell me they've failed fusions and lost emeralds after tier 3 horses, really, maybe it has to be a secret method at fusing that we plebs don't know.

Conclusion is: you are unlucky (but forget the 50% or more of people who are incredibly lucky).

I don't really do horse-breeding much but it varies. I have gotten good streaks and also terrible ones where I spend 5LE and get 1 brown horse. All I'm trying to say is that there are no 'lucky' people. As mentioned before there is a 20% chance you get an upgraded horse. That means there is an 80% chance you don't get an upgraded horse. If you breed 10 horses, that means there is a 0.80^10 = 0.107..., or a 10.7% chance you don't get any better ones. Maybe you are just lucky, but in the opposite way?

What I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't get sad because of this because it's just pure luck. Horse breeding can be useful but don't ever spend more than necessary... For me, I always find myself breeding only black ones because the risk gets too big when you try for chestnut. And hey, I don't get angry after not finding a mythic after 4 level 100 accounts, do I?

Bro, I spent 10LE for a brown horse. It is pure chance, like rolling dice. It is annoying, I know. But there is no reason to lose your chill over it. Be cool please :).

Now that there is an in-game trade market, you are literally throwing away money (statistically) by breeding horses.

As an example, the 50th percentile (average/median in this case) price of a white horse through breeding is 111 LE. I have 4 of them and cant even sell them for 75-80 LE.

Just save up 15 LE for a chestnut, or buy a black horse for 1 or 2 LE and upgrade it after completing corrupted dungeons, and you'll have a 25 speed horse for cheap. No probability, no rage, just being smart with your money.

Ayo, I'm the one that calculated the horse prices.
The horse prices on the wiki are the average breeding prices per horse tier.
The admins told me my prices were correct.
And I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

I’ve spent a total of 25le and got 1 black. Do you see me posting a thread and raving on about it? No. I know now to be smart and buy from the market.
Anyway, horses are a commodity, not a necessity, so, just, don’t get too worked up about it. Okay?

8 Le is something easy to make, it would be stupid I think to quit wynncraft just because you had the idea to roll the dice with them and you lose.
