Guide Species Report: Wybel (orange)

Preface:
Wybels are mysterious creatures that have recently appeared on an isolated island within the Sky Islands. They resemble tiny rams, can levitate, and their fur and eyes come in a variety of colors. The majority of them are incapable of combat, usage of tools, or Wynnic speech. Though a multitude of hues is represented, some are much more uncommon than others.

From least rare (Class I) to most rare* (Class IV):
Class I: Cream-White, Chocolate Brown, Gray, White
Class II: Mint Green, Pink, Violet
Class III: Sky Blue, Sea Blue
Class IV: Orange
*There exists Wybels that are theoretically more uncommon than of Class IV. However, such Wybels are exclusively bred as pets and do not occur in the wild. In no particular order, they are Dragon, Rainbow, and Demon.

Orange Wybels are an exception, as they are perfectly capable of articulating speech in Wynnic and boast superhuman (and Villager) intelligence. Additionally, their strikes tend to be lethal. Though their elemental resistances and attacks seem to point to them being related to Demons, no proof has been given for this subject.

Habits:
Orange Wybels tend to be very reclusive, straying away from other Wybels and preferring to engineer alone. If a non-Wybel encroaches on one's territory, they can expect harsh retaliation. Orange Wybels are more than capable of constructing units that are capable of disintegrating one's very being and can do so with naught but flower petals and wood pulp. Given any material, non-organic or not, one can conceivably expect the Wybel to create many different robots for various purposes.

Orange Wybels seem to prefer quartz laboratories, as they provided a stark white background that offers minimal distraction. However, their facilities may be laced with terrariums containing microsystems of the planet they inhabit. Though the purpose of these is not entirely known, some speculate that these are created for the purpose of harvesting biofuel.

Interestingly enough, these specimens seem to have absolutely no regard for danger. They will challenge anybody indiscriminately without giving a thought to the equipment they are carrying. They will conduct biological experiments on lesser Wybels. Experimental chambers of their laboratories seem to be littered with danger untold, but they do not seem to grasp the concept of death. It is not uncommon to see melting walls, charred floors, and tears in space-time within an Orange Wybel's chambers.

Biology:
Like most Wybels, their biological structure seems to resemble those of Rams. With the species, they share cloven hooves and sharp, elongated horns. It may be interesting to note that the front hooves of an Orange Wybel are capable of being manipulated like fingers. Curiously, this function is not present among other Wybels.

An Orange Wybel's fur and teeth seem to possess a remarkable quality. Its fur renders it completely immune to electricity and flames, causing most disintegrator units to be completely ineffective against it. Its bite shows very faint traces of electricity and fire magic. When tested, the composition of an Orange Wybel's teeth was 87% similar to a Demon's tusk. It is quite possible that the two species are somehow related, but there is no way to prove this connection. For now, it remains an interesting coincidence.

Orange Wybels seem to have two "pockets" as part of their collection of internal organs. When studied, they showed heavy traces of adrenaline. After a clash between Orange Wybels was observed, it was determined that these are used to provide "rage-states" after a near-death experience. During the state, they are completely immune to attack and gain an incredible boost in speed.

Origin:
As they just mysteriously appeared in the Sky Islands, there are absolutely no records of them being present anywhere else throughout Wynn or Gavel. This has prompted some to claim that they are extraterrestial beings, ones that have come from a planet called Jupiter. Though they do a good job explaining the phenomenon of Wybels, there is absolutely no evidence backing that conclusion. For now, Wybels remain as a mysterious species.

I think the wybel's are capable of manipulating their hooves similarly to fingers, not the hooves manipulating the wybels like fingers. Nice thread tho.

 

Based on the info above, what if someone extracted the DNA from the Orange Wybel and a demon then they combine the DNA and inject it into a premature Wybel embryo?
