Something's Up With Mech. Chip Door

Me and a friend were trying to open the door with the mechanical chip, but it wasn't working. We both went afk to look up what we were doing wrong, but when we came back, there was blood everywhere. As in, renamed redstone, ITEM blood. Then, after we picked it up later, we came back and there was even more. I've never seen anything like this before. Did they make a secret patch since that door was found?

It's the broken circuit that drop everywhere, get rid of the item, it's a vanilla item ^^ Change of server, circuit broken, no door will open

 

That's a strange bug. I'll make sure that this gets fixed. In the meantime, DO NOT hold onto any of that. Those are bugged vanilla items and you should not keep them.

 

I've been trying to get the door to open on every server possible, wont work... nothing is opening it :/

Same thing happened to me. Before i was sent to bed i had little over 3 stacks of it.

May also mention i couldn't get into the door too...

 

Actually, it's not even redstone, it's called blood, and blood is an actual item in the game.

 

Yes, but it still acts like redstone, and was probably being used as such still. Why have multiple of something that should theoretically never be seen right?

 

If you really wanted to, you could go farm that much blood by Dullahan's mansion.

 

It is vanilla redstone. The resource pack renames it to Blood.

 

Not only from what Tantibus said, it also has no NPT tags on it.
