Something About Poison

So i recently got my hands on a weapon named Contamination. The big thing of this weapon is that it does poison overtime. Mine does 1260/3s, and i was wondering if the poison stacks, lets say i shoot a boss with 2 arrows, will the poison stack, doing approximatelly 2520/3s, or will it do something else?

 

it will not stack, but it will reset the poison effect's duration (or at least it should but it's kind of janky)

 

Yeah, that makes sense, i just realised how op arrow storm would be lol
