Some Strategies For Corrupter Of Worlds As A Shaman?

I'm playing as a shaman and I can't freaking kill the Corrupter of Worlds. Whenever I think I'm gonna beat him he just pulls me towards them and multi-hit me. Any strategies that would help me beat him?

Yeah as druser said what is your build
also are you using aura spell well? because he should be trapped in the "cage" from the spell when you use it and using uproot to reset the cooldown you should be able to keep him there the whole fight.

 

I can't post links so I'll just tell you my build. My helmet is Svalinn, chest plate is Chaos, leggings are Greaves of Honor and the boots are Abysso Galoshes. My rings are Morph-Topaz and Draoi Fair, my bracelet is Call to Concord, my necklace is Troms Kid Badge, and my weapon is Kilauea

 

Lack of mana might explain the trouble - do you have at least 68 Intelligence? You should be able to run a cycle like Aura-Aura-Uproot. I recommend Uprooting at nothing, to reset spell costs without rocketing your totem in unwanted directions.

 

I beat him with 0 intel and a weird quad element not-a-build comprised of shit ive found on my leveling. your totem gives you so much sustain, and haul is underrated. I basically kited him to death using the aura cage, uproot reset, and haul to totem. Basically I aura'd, then ranged him until he broke free to come grape me, but i would haul to totem, which would send me to the other side of totem. Rinse and repeat with shift uproots, anything to kite him.

Haul slows as well, so this gives you extra time to regen mana/health, and you'll usually hit him on the way to your totem.
