Hey guys, I'm an off and on player of Wynncraft. Just came back after a year-long break and had some questions about stuff. My first question is where/how can I get good gear. I've been getting a lot of legendary Unidentified pieces but when I identify them they normally have a whole load of negative effects, is this something I should not care about or should I go for armor with no negative effects like I have been?
I also wanted to know if identifying stuff is worth it? Like 90% of the time I identify something it's really bad and then sell it to the blacksmith for like a quarter to half of what I paid to identify it, is this what other players normally do?
I also want to know if you can grind for good gear. Like how you can kill mobs and they drop low grade gear can you kill certain minibosses/bosses to get high grade gear. I'm a level 43 assassin if anyone wants to know

    Thank you all, from Bubbagump

    1. To get good gear, you can loot run, buy it from dungeon merchants or from killing mobs. All of these work but it’s a lot easier to buy them from the market, as you can see the identified item and all it’s stats.

    2. Pretty much every item has negative stats. They’re only important if they are in something that will effect you. E.g negative exploding doesn’t matter as much as negative main attack % for example.

    3. You can definitely grind for good gear, though it’s not really worth it until like lvl 95+. I’d just buy stuff from the market.

Yeah, there's not really a way to know if an item is "good" before IDing it unless you spend lots of time on wynndata or you're an experienced player
IDing things is kinda hit or miss

I just ID rare and legendaries close to my level.
(Unless I'm really desperate for a particular item)

(Also, someone's gonna get angry at me, but I highly suggest wearing the morph set. You don't have to wear the full set, just whatever fits your level. It's not the best armor, but it's easy, reasonably priced, and will not make you feel weak if you use it for content your level)
