Serious Some IDs are completely broken

Hi all,
I realized after taking on and off my Empathy Purge that the fire main attack damage stat, does absolutely nothing



where fire damage?

and then I decided to test if %element damage does anything. And it does absolute nothing as well!

Like acutally go test it out.

this is bugged for other elemental main attack equiptments as well, Apex predator:

that 50 air main attack?
NOTHING

What is going on?

Before any of you say, yes i made a bug report, it got ignored.

that 5 dps difference is literally a rounding error, what does air damage% even do then?

I can only conclude air damage% does absolutely NOTHING , or it is mutiplitive to base damage, then added to final damage, which makes it worthless!


TLDR: I am going to stick with the 3 damage modifier that acutally does something in this game:
flat main attack damage
spell damage%
attack speed.


This also mean that most weapons in this game is unusable because they essentially dont have IDs.

 

I don't think "lack of response within a single fucking day" qualifies as "ignored"

In fact, I don't see why they would bother responding at all, see bug --> fix bug. These reports get dumped into a mega-thread

 

I get what you are saying but another bug report i submitted got responded to in a single hour, so this report is deliberately ignored

 

what elemental damage raw does is it adds to your damage only if you already deal that elemental damage. e.g. you'll only benefit from fire main attack damage if your main attack already deals fire damage.

so nawh it's not bugged, it's working as intended. I wish they responded to you with that though

 

you might not be using a weapon that deals fire damage

 

% air damage increases the air damage you deal. You don't appear to be dealing air damage in that picture, so in that case having an item with 20% air damage would buff your 0 damage by 20% of 0, which is 0.
