So, What's Up With The Armour Skins?

Now before you start I realize a lot of you probably hate the armour skins after being so used to the default armour but there is a simple solution to that. Just remove it in the skin customization. I for one loved it because I most of the time turned off the skins and it allowed me to show off the skin I'd worked forever on. As far as I'm aware it is just a bug but I'm really hating having to wear normal gear. It's not even that the gear looks bad but when I joined wynncraft we had armour skins and now they just don't work. That and some gear doesn't make sense. I mean I find something called the King's robes and you expect some majestic silky robes flowing in the wind as you walk... nope it's just a plain old leather tunic. I don't know if I'm literally the only one but this really rustles my jimmies. Please if you plan on keeping it can you make it optional? I just really want the old system back. Perhaps set up specific worlds that allow the armour skins and others that don't. I just REALLY hate the normal stuff. Danks baus

 

As Salted said, they removed armor skins because they took forever to draw. It's because Wynncraft has grown and there are now more players there.

 

It was removed due to inefficiencies with the armor skins system causing server lag and bogging down the host. Further streamlining is being looked into for the future, however.

 

Now that I think about it, doesn't 1.9 have the potential to have all armor skins be part of an actual armor piece instead of a skin's second layer?
