So... Uh... Anyone Play Neverwinter?

Neverwinter is a game on Steam made by Wizards of the Coast that basically puts all the famous Dungeons and Dragons 5e campaigns into videogame form.

Anyone play it?

I'm currently a Level 28 Drow Scourge Warlock. When I hit level 30 I plan on going down the Damnation feat tree, and choosing the Soulbinder paragon path.

It's really fun and it's free on Steam

Basically you have a selection of the normal DnD 5e races with slightly modified classes, and there's questlines and stuff. It's a MMORPG.

But then once you get around level 30, the cool stuff starts. You get to choose your subclasses and stuff, and you get campaigns where you basically have all the famous 5e campaigns in the game. It's really cool.

I recommend trying it out if you have Steam. It's free, and even my sh*tty old computer can handle it no problems.

Yep! It is pretty consistent with the 5e lore. It has all the famous 5e Campaigns, including the new one Tomb of the Apocolypse. It’s also set within the world of Faerûn, so it’s consistent with all the Forgotten Realms lore and Sword Coast lore.

The main plot line involves a powerful Lich/Necromancer who’s attacking the city of Neverwinter, but then connects to the main campaigns, like the Cult of the Dragon appearing early on.

Which neverwinter? The mmo? or neverwinter nights? Anyway if you are talking about the MMO, I used to play it alot, it is really fun! I'm currentallyabout level ~64 maybe. I haven't played in a while. It also has minsc in it which is great.

 

The WOTC-made rpgmmo just called Neverwinter. And yeah, it’s really fun. And I applaud being level 64, I’m only like 34 at this point.

Will probably give it a try once I actually get around to installing bootcamp. Until then, I can't.

From the reviews I've read, it sounds a lot like Wynn, in the sense that it's a great game the first time through, but becomes grindy and unbalanced in the endgame.

 

I’m not at endgame yet, but it’s fun from what I’ve seen. I know the endgame has a lot more campaigns, so idk.

I have not had to grind at all yet, questing alone has gotten me to level 34
