I created a rainbow build, A support build. The goal is to be tanky (for big heals) some mana regen for heals and have fast+ attack speed.
    Helmet
    Morph Stardust
a good 40 sp 2/4 mana would work well eliminating the need for 2xprism and puts the build over 1400 hp, double the sp of shimmersight for 1/4 mana
    Chestplate
    Gravity or Libra
Gravity - little bit of -speed best if you have no negative attack speed, has some mana steal, and some nice thorns and reflection, Life steal and health regen are not bad either but not as important on mage
Libra - damage boost, defense not as good as gravity but is good.
    Leggings
    Master voucher legs
unfortunately it has some -defenses but it has some mana steal and this is a more melee build, and amazing hp and some speed to counter gravity's negative speed.
    Boots
    Leadlights
Without a doubt, perfect for any rainbow build, damage and defense hp is decent but not amazing
    Rings
    Prism
Why not, it is good defense and stats but only one due to -500 hp
    Concentration
    Mana regen for more heals
    Bracelet
    Neon
    Good elemental stuff
    Necklace
    Cosmium
because it has nice defence and the other option is planet healer which has all the negative stats of stats we want -hp and -regen and the such, especially since poison is not as important in this build I think cosmium is good.
    Weapon
    Cascade
hive wand is good but does not come with rainbow damage so, you have to use powders to help that with cascade just throw on a powder for the effect and what we want is Curse/The fire special. it is to empower and help the people around you, with damage buffs on them or defense shred on the enemy. Unfortunately we have the -skill points on this, try to get as little as possible.

So, this build comes out with 13600 ish hp. good mana regen/steal and very fast attack speed for the special. Damage is not as important to this build as some others, and this is not a build best used solo, as I made it a tank for heals and for boosting damage, one way or another.
    Feedback?
Unfortunately this build requires almost perfect items. :/ or you get lower hp it's really preference.

Edit 2: Actually the fix is prowess or Remikas Authority with 3 sp across the board

I love this build, could you get enough skill points for it to work?

yes, but you need 2 3 skill points across everything and a shimmer sight with 6 across everything. The other option is vaward and 1 prism

Actually tis good, I'd just use Boreal-Patterned chest and Gemini for more tankiness

The hive chestplate is better for water/thunder/air builds.

I thought of that but I went the more balanced route, also then the spread defenses that come from Gravity are lost and Gemini is not as effective

Actually, nope. Gravity builds lack of defense, and if you take a few neutral hits you're ded.
EDIT: Shiet I messed up, no Gemini but use Veneer

Gravity's high reqs, if you use Boreal you won't waste skill points. You need as much defense (and a bit of agi) as possible.
