Snail Island Merchant

    A while ago, I went to some weird snail island and I thought that it was just an easter egg. I found some armor mechant that sold NOTHING and I thought it was just a glitch. Hippies vid reminded me of it and it seems iot wasnt only me. Is he supposed to sell something or something thats not in the game yet?

    To my knowledge, almost all Set Items were removed from being buyable to being gained by killing its relevant mob(s). The only buyable armour I can think of is the Clock Armour, and that's technically gained by killing a relevant mob; even though it's the drop you trade to get the armour.

    The champion armour is gained as a quest reward, for a quest that entails killing 637 Mobs; and the cow armour I'm unsure of as I haven't encountered it yet.

    I found that merchant awhile back too, and it showed nothing. It looked like it would probably be a snail armour merchant if anything, which would be pretty useless. .-.

    Wasn't the black armour set the only one removed from the merchants? I know you can still get other ones like the snow set. And the mobs drop them too, but they're slightly different, since the armour isn't dyed. Not sure if IDs are different or not.

    Well, as I remember, Snow armour drops from Nesaak mobs, Ghost from Twain Mansion, Jester comes from loot chests and Black is still bought, but Assassin/Ninja exclusive.

    I did say almost all, not all.
