Small Glitch Message In Death Whistle

If you try to enter the upper teleporter on the mountain the black whistle flower is on before entering the lower one it will give you the message "/". Specifically, this occurs when your quest book tells you to go to the coords of the mountain and find the flower. I would assume it also happens when you have not started the quest yet. I know this is really minor, but it is still a glitch that should be addressed, and I assume it would be as easy as adding a message like "You cannot go this way yet".
Someone did make a thread about this when Gavel was first released but the thread wasn't noticed.

The quest requires you to go through the teleporters or the NPC won't accept the item.
