...I wish it was possible for the Glockenspiel to sound like rubber mallets were being used in MuseScore.

 

This is really impressive! I've seen a lot of remixes fail to capture the essence and theme of the song, but this still manages to feel mystical and floaty like the original one. However, personally I feel some areas need a background beat to serve as a "white-noise" of sorts, but it may just be me.

Keep up the amazing work!

 

I might update it with percussion later on, and have both on my channel. I wanted to make it with only mallet percussion, and timpani would be too "in your face" for this song. I do agree, it does feel a slight bit empty at times, but I like it :p I appreciate the feedback ^-^
Maybe a tambourine or something.

I love dis, just needs to be speeded a tad bit like the original. :)

 

One of the things I considered was playability, any faster and we would need an extremely good marimba player that can play 3 parts with 4 mallets at once. It's possible, but very difficult :p
Or we would need 2 people on marimba

That is, if this were ever to be played in real life.

 

This is really great! Captures the "Mystical feel" Of floating islands.

Though I agree with some other people, a little more background would be nice.

 

This sounds wonderful! TBH I don't really like the sounds of the plinky vanilla note blocks....

 

While I'm used to and love the original piano version, which makes it feel like the end of your journey, this fits the Sky Islands just as well. It's just mystical and magical and makes you wonder why rocks are floating above a dark void... and what might be inside that.
