Skill Points

I reset my skill points and tried to add them again but a lot of them didn't apply. Someone told me it was because I was lagging and to /hub and go to a different world, so I tried that but they didn't appear on the new server either. I probably lost about 20 skill points because of this.
I was able to apply points to some skills while I was unable to put them on a different one (eg. I could add points to Strength but not Agility).

This is kinda frustrating cos I can't use some of my gear now. Is there a way to reset my points so that I get the ones I lost back?

 

Sometimes, the small number next to the books bugs out. What you have to do is hover over the book, and it will tell you how many skill points you have in that skill.

 

They might come from gear
Also the books themselves stack only up to 64 but skill points can go higher

 

I looked at your stats page and you haven't lost any skill points - there's a total of 86, which is exactly the maximum at your level. I can conclude that this is either a visual glitch only, or that you have negative skill points on armour and accessories. Relog, and if that doesn't work, check the stats of all of your gear, and see if it says '-5 dexterity' or something else like this that could explain this.

 

None of my gear is negative skill points that I can see. I can't wear part of my armour now because no matter how many points I put into defence, it won't register. I've relogged a number of times.

So yeah.

 

Are you trying to get over 64 defense?

 

Fixed it! Restarted my computer. Thanks for the help, everyone!
